Michele’s commitment to the creation of the Survivors fund is but the next phase of a lifetime of service to others. In her career as a social worker administrator and clinician in Carroll County, counseled in the Prison system, and maintains a psychotherapy practice in both Annapolis and Westminster, Maryland. Her own experiences with the aftermath of abuse informs her practice, and leadership of The Sr. Cathy Cesnik Fund for Survivors.

Deeply inspired to write by Sr. Cathy while at Keough, Sr. Cathy also helped her navigate though many adverse childhood experiences, and instilled values that have made her life one of service to family and community.

Her elementary school sweetheart became her 50-year marriage partner and her family a point of departure into various committees including religious education, Vice President of the Freedom District Citizen’s committee, on the Carroll Country committee for Community Organizations Active in Disasters, and a Member of the Lions Club.

Donna has a career in Federal Reporting at Loyola University where she is the Assistant Director. She holds a Bachelors degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and Master's Degree in American History from Georgetown University.

Jon is a university professor in Experimental Psychology and has various publications in that area. Meta-academic involvement in Industrial/Organizational psychology steered him into program development and evaluation.

  Jon participated with his wife, Michele, in the deployment of the original GoFundMe page for survivors of childhood abuse. He has developed and delivers a university-level course on the Health Implications of Violence/Abuse.

Anne attended St. William of York Catholic grade school along with 2 members of The Keepers documentary. She attended public high school and then went on to earn her pharmacy degree in 1982 from University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Pharmacy.  She practiced 35 years until retiring. 

Anne is now involved in online activisms and media resources in support of survivors.
